Hey guys. I’m super excited for tonight’s post. Rylee’s nursery is one of my favourite rooms in the house and I spent a lot of time putting it together. The post is a little late, as in 10 months late but I was waiting for a handmade item to complete the room.
So here we go!
This cute little mirrored ‘R’ was from Michaels. I love finding items there because they always have a 50% percent off coupon. It’s also gold, which is one of the main colours in her room.
As soon as I started planning Rylee’s nursery I knew I wanted a gallery wall. I went with metallic and sparkly golds, shades of pinks, and rhinestones. My sister-in-law made the hair accessory holder. If fit perfectly with the overall look.
The change pad was the first item I bought and kind of started my gold theme. I finished the dresser off with some cute girly accents.
We bought the dresser that doubles as a change table (previous post here) and this tall set of drawers from Ikea and they worked perfectly in our little ones room. We spray painted the knobs gold to dress them up and fit our theme better.
If you look to the right of that photo, you will notice we painted out light cover as well. It looks super cute this way instead of the boring white one.
The picture above this set of drawers and the one above the closet (picture below) are also from Homesense. To see how her closet is organized, check this post.
We went with a solid white crib that can be converted into a toddler bed and then a double bed later on.
The bed skirt and crib rail cover were hand made and exactly what I was looking for. It was so hard to find gold nursery items last year so I had to get these made. I bought a few throw pillows in gold, white and pink (which of course I take out each night). And the monogram was ordered online then painted a soft pink. It hangs above her crib.
I found the curtains on Wayfair and although they are a bit darker than I wanted, the ruffle detail is perfect!
I really wanted to display all the cute blankets she got but was having trouble figuring out how to do so until I seen these gold baskets from Michaels,of course! I got one for all her owls too.
I found these cute Disney printouts online for free and then just had them printed at Staples. The floating shelves are from Ikea and were a super cute way to display some of her knick knacks.
I loved adding a few sentimental personal items like the framed pictures below. My sister-in-law drew them both for my baby shower and all the guests put their finger print on it. The one below it is going to be for her first birthday party.
And that is little Miss Rylee’s room. If you have any questions please feel free to comment or message me.
